General Information
For 60 years AIPA has been serving Arizona's student journalists
and their advisers.All advisers and publications are encouraged
to join AIPA and to involve their journalists in the many
exciting events available to them from this valuable
organization.Membership
All schools, regardless of size or location, are encouraged to
join AIPA and participate in its events and activities. Junior
high schools and middle schools and organizations are also
encouraged to join.
Membership runs from Sept. 1, 2008 through Aug. 31, 2009.

Board Members:
AIPA board members serve for two-year terms.
Each year half of the board is elected to office. Elections are
held in the spring. See Article 3 of the Bylaws for officer
duties.

Censorship Statement
Freedom of the press is basic to the preservation of a
democratic society. AIPA firmly supports students' rights to
freedom of the press and will continue working toward the goal
of releasing student journalism from the bonds of censorship.
